Every one of the assaulting slugs want to bite out a piece from what it simbolizes.</p><p>Utilitariansm drives them, which raised the fort. Which sharpened the stakes to defend the sublime, defenseless vegetable-angel. They’re assaulting without an end, having nothing before them, just that fort.</p><p>The garden is a fort. Harcban áll. A rohamozó csupaszcsigák mind ki akarnak harapni egy darabot abból, amit szimbolizál.</p><p>A haszonszemlélet hajtja őket, ami az erődöt emelte. Ami kihegyezte a karókat, hogy megvédje a fennséges, védtelen zöldség-angyalt. Vég nélkül rohamoznak, nincs más, csak az emelvény előttük.</p><p>A kert erőd. Rare acquaintances, vanishing companions. I know some of their residences, stations they left behind during their wanderings, although it is hard to know whether they indeed move on or if they are simply silenced by my presence.</p><p>Our relationship is peculiar; sometimes they scare me, other times they show me something. They know the cracks in which they can dissolve, the flashes, the density and scarcity of noises in which they stride. They slip away in the sound of footsteps, in scratches, in the pressure of my body.</p><p>As of now, I am once again looking for them.</p><p>photos: Gergő Fülöp</p><p>//</p><p>Donnák János: Valami bent</p><p>Bent a bentlakókkal találkoztam (egyesek yōkai-ként is ismerhetik őket). Ritka ismerősök, eltűnő társak. Ismerem néhány lakhelyüket, vándorlásaik során hátrahagyott állomásaikat. Ámbár nehéz eldönteni, hogy tényleg továbbállnak, vagy jelenlétemre egyszerűen elnémulnak.</p><p>Furcsa a kapcsolatunk; néha megijesztenek, máskor megmutatnak valamit. Ismerik a repedéseket, amiben felszívódhatnak, a villanásokat, a hangok sűrűsödését és ritkulását, amiben tempóznak. /> Sunshine deals with the seemingly irresolvable question of the need for certainties, when there are none. It came from a childhood memory of mine. I saw an illustrated picture about the Resurrection in a missionary brochure in my grandmothers kitchen: golden light, clean white dresses, cypresses, some kind of citrus odour, unspeakable happiness and relief.<br
/> But in my installation I present passing as we know it. With the imagery of Heaven, which is based on human desire, I visualize the unconceivable, but ultimate demise. We can read, like a last word, the text „I am here – and there you are”, meaning that the subject is not in the same place as the viewer (as a matter of fact the subject is not. It is nowhere).<br
